Vani, the AI astrologer

Vani: an AI astrologer that never makes up your chart

Ask anything about your chart, any hour, in your language. Vani reads your calculated kundli by the classical method, dates every timing, says how sure it can be, and asks before it assumes.

What an answer looks like

  • The value first. Ask which dasha you are running and the first sentence names it.
  • Dated timings. Every period comes with dates you can put in a calendar.
  • An overall lean, supportive, mixed or asking for patience. Never a certainty.
  • What it rests on: “Based on your birth chart, your planetary periods (dasha) and current planetary transits.”
  • Caveats when they matter, such as a value that depends on your birth time.

The answer in the picture is real for the sample chart used across this site (Pune, 14 April 1995, 06:10 IST): its Rahu–Sun period and the 2027 double transit come straight from the engine.

Things people ask Vani

From one-line facts to ten-turn consultations. Vani asks a short question back when it must: whose birth details these are, which of two places you mean, or which hour applied on a night the clocks changed.

“What does my chart say about my career?”

Works through the 10th house, its lord, the dasamsa (D10), the amatyakaraka and your running dasha, and says how they lean.

“How does 2027 look for a job change?”

Adds your dasha periods and Jupiter’s and Saturn’s transits for 2027, and dates every statement.

“Which mahadasha am I running?”

Names it in the first sentence, with the antardasha and their dates, then explains what those planets rule in your chart.

“Has my Sade Sati started?”

Gives your phase and its dates, counted from your own Moon sign, retrograde returns included.

“Are Priya and I compatible?”

Once Priya is saved with her consent, shows the koota table and both Manglik checks as screening information.

“Sorry, I was born at 10:44, not 10:34.”

Saves the correction, says what in your chart changed, and answers your last question again.

“Prashna: will the deal go through?”

Casts a horary chart for the moment and place you ask from (or uses a KP number from 1 to 249) and reads the house of the matter.

“What is the Rahu kaal in Mumbai tomorrow?”

Calculates the panchang for that place and date.

Why you can trust an answer

The AI does the talking. It is never allowed to make up your chart.

  • Your chart is calculated, with Swiss Ephemeris precision and published conventions, never generated by the AI.
  • The classical method is followed: houses, lords, karakas, the divisional chart, yogas, dasha, transits and strength, in that order.
  • Every chart statement is checked against the calculation before you see it.
  • Your birth time is respected: anything it cannot support is described as uncertain, not stated as fact.

What Vani will not do

  • Predict death, lifespan, illness or medical outcomes
  • Say whether a baby will be a boy or a girl
  • Confirm black magic, or help harm or control someone
  • Sell or prescribe remedies, gemstones or pujas
  • Write code, essays or anything that is not astrology
  • Pretend to be a human astrologer

Horary questions (prashna)

No birth details? Ask a prashna: “Prashna: will I get the job?” Vani casts the chart of the moment you ask, at the place you are, and reads the house of the matter, its lord and the Moon, with the Tajika aspects of Prashna Marga and Tajika Neelakanthi. Or give a KP number from 1 to 249. The answer leans favourable, mixed or unfavourable; it is never stated as certain.

Questions about Vani

Is Vani a real astrologer?

Vani is an AI, and says so if you ask; it never claims to be human. What makes it different from a general chatbot is that it never invents chart facts: your chart is calculated with Swiss Ephemeris precision, and every statement Vani makes about it is checked against that calculation before you see it.

Can an AI astrologer be accurate?

A general chatbot that guesses planetary positions cannot be relied on for a chart. One that calculates the chart and checks what it says can be measured: in our latest benchmark run (9 October 2026), all 967 chart statements in Vani’s answers were correct and 99.7% of calculated values agreed with an independent reference. Astrology itself describes tendencies, not certainties, and Vani says so. More on AI and astrology.

Which languages does Vani speak?

English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Bengali and Gujarati. Choose under Me → Language. Vani also understands questions typed in Hinglish or in Devanagari. Tables and calculation details stay in English.

Does Vani remember our conversation?

Yes, within a conversation: follow-ups like “and in the navamsa?”, “why?” or “what about 2028 instead?” carry on from the previous answer, and corrections to your birth details are remembered. You can delete any conversation, or your whole account, at any time.

Can Vani predict death, illness or a baby’s sex?

No. Vani does not predict death, lifespan, illness or medical outcomes, or anyone else’s, and it never says whether a baby will be a boy or a girl, which is illegal to determine in India. It also will not confirm black magic or sell remedies. If you are in distress, it answers with support and helplines, not astrology.

What if Vani does not know something?

It says so. Methods it does not calculate, such as KP sub-lords, chara dasha or muhurta selection, get a plain “not available”. If your birth time cannot support a statement, the answer says what it depends on instead of guessing.
